John Deckert: portrait

John Deckert was alone in Paris in 1983, didn’t speak the language and had nearly run out of money. That’s when he discovered a hidden talent for portraiture and languages.
Since that time he has developed many in oil, watercolor, pastel, ink and graphite. Represented above are a graphite drawing, a pastel painting and an oil painting on canvas.
